YLoader won’t start or “DLL missing” or other system errors pop up during startup
YLoader installation files may be inconsistent, and/or necessary system files may be missing.
  • Completely uninstall YLoader, making sure that there are no leftover files in the installation directory, then reinstall it.
  • Download and install the Visual Studio 2022 C++ redistributable package (not the full Visual Studio 2022 development environment), 32 or 64 bit version that matches your YLoader installtion. You can find it with a web search, but be sure to get it directly from microsoft.com to avoid any potential security issues

YLoader startup takes a long time, and/or won’t download any data
Diagnostic file may be enabled and log file may be too large
  • Disable diagnostic logging in Settings/Log.
  • Remove existing log file located at:
    C:\Users\[your_windows_user_name]\AppData\Local\YLoader\log\
